Penn Communications Sees Bright Future

Penn Communications Sees Bright Future

Penn Communications is looking forward to a bright 2008 thanks to wonderful local clients and an expanding source of website development projects throughout the United States.

Officially in business for nearly ten years, owner Matthew Penn went full-time with the company in January 2007 and there has been no turning back.  Penn Communications provides website development and hosting services for a wide variety of clients, including local organizations Audrain Medical Center, Goldcrest Distributing, Gallagher-Tangora-Rhodes Insurance Agency, Crown Linen, and D-N-K Cabinets. In addition, Penn Communications was recently awarded the website development project for Mexico Public Schools.

Statewide and nationally, Penn Communications works organizations such as Lake Regional Health System, Missouri Planning Council Developmentally Disabled, and Special Olympics programs in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Missouri. The company had the honor of providing website support for Special Olympics Team USA as they traveled to compete in the 2007 World Games in China a few months ago.

In January of 2008, Penn Communications went live with JabberText.com, an online service that provides Group Text (SMS) messages. Initially marketed to church youth groups and congregations, this service provides an essential communications tool for schools, nightclubs, bands, and businesses to reach their groups via text messaging. The JabberText.com project involves a couple other members of the Penn family - David (father) and Michael (brother), who provide technical and business expertise.

"Going full-time with Penn Communications has been a dream of mine for several years," says Penn. "The timing was finally right in 2007 and we've brought in some wonderful new clients to keep the momentum growing."

Matthew Penn is married to Shawna Penn, who works at Hawthorne Elementary School as music instructor. They have two children, Geoffrey (4) and Gracelyn (7).  Penn Communications can be found on the web at www.PennComm.com.
