Youth Update - August 15, 2007

MidWeek Youth Approximately 50 students participated in last week's MidWeek Revolution Youth ministry. Our huge slip 'n slide helped everybody stay cool, and Amanda Clayton's devotion was really well received. Centennial's Midweek youth ministry takes place each Wednesday from 6pm - 8pm and is open to all 7th - 12th grade students.

Youth Small Groups Centennial's Youth Ministry will soon begin our High School small groups again this fall -- one for girls and one for guys. This is a great opportunity for indepth Bible Study and fellowship. These groups will most likely meet Sunday evenings. If you would like to sign up your son/daughter, please contact Matthew Penn (473-2378) or Shawna Penn (721-3505).

Court of Dreams! Centennial's vision of having a basketball court area on our property is now complete! We now have four half-court basketball areas that can be utilized for our neighborhood outreach efforts. Thank you so much to the tremendous support and help we received -- Tim Jesse, William Dugan, Pam Knipp, Bob Owens, David Penn, Jay Eicher, Kevin Nance, Carely Nance, Dylan Nance, Trevion Taylor, Keanon Campbell, Josh Lauer, and all the other students who lended a hand in the process.

Missions & Worship Night Our Youth group will be dedicating the 4th Wednesday of each month to perform ministry projects throughout the church and community. We will work with the Deacon's "Care Team" ministry to help identify needs within the church body, as well as with other community organizations. Starting September 26, students at midweek youth will break up into 4 teams and serve in various ways. These nights will conclude with a youth worship service.
