I want to start off by saying that I think Lincoln, Nebraska has the friendliest people I have ever met. No matter where you go everyone is genuine, asks how your stay has been and wishes you well. The volunteers at the Games are so helpful and have completely gone out of their way to ensure all of the athletes, coaches, families, spectators, etc. enjoy their experience at these Games. So thank you to the folks in Lincoln.

Eunice Kennedy Shriver died early this morning at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, Massachusetts, surrounded by her family. She was 88 years old. Near her at the time of her death were her husband, R. Sargent Shriver; her five children: Robert “Bobby” Sargent Shriver III, Maria Owings Shriver, Timothy Perry Shriver, Mark Kennedy Shriver and Anthony Paul Kennedy Shriver, as well as their spouses and all of her nineteen grandchildren.
