2013 State Summer Games - Columbia - Saturday, June 1
We are thrilled to be holding our 2013 State Summer Games in Columbia again! Over the course of four (4) days you will see over 1,000 athletes compete in basketball, volleyball, powerlifting, aquatics, bowling, and track & field. Be one of the more than 750 volunteers needed to make this event everything it should be. For questions about volunteering at the 2013 State Summer Games email Ashley at volunteer@somo.org. If you are a large group interested in volunteering, please contact me directly, as we do hold some jobs back specifically for large groups.

Location: MU Student Center
Description: Provide information to SOMO families and guests about parking and bus schedules. Information will be provided onsite. Feel free to bring a book, and some water. There is little physical activity required of this job, but should be able to handle the weather (rain or shine). A tent for shade is provided.

Description: This position is designed for individuals that can spot and load large amounts of weights (at least 50 lbs). Great opportunity for high school or college football players, basketball players or wrestlers or those individuals who are accustom to weightlifting.

Description: Victory Village offers the athletes the opportunity to hang out with friends and the volunteers playing games, etc. As a volunteer you will assist with the various activities that will be offered from arts and crafts to sports clinics.

Description: Volunteers will help athletes as needed, distribute prizes, etc.
